The ACRC organized a training course designed to help build anti-corruption capacity of public officials from around the world from May 12th to 20th.

The ACRC has operated the ACRC Training Course for International Anti-Corruption Practitioners every year since 2013 for public officials working at anti-corruption agencies around the world, in order to increase its contribution to technical assistance in the anti-corruption field as highlighted in the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the G20 Anti-Corruption Action Plan. This year, 15 public officials from 15 countries, including Vietnam, Poland, Ukraine, Morocco, and Paraguay, were selected out of 47 applicants in 24 countries.

The training course aims to improve practical knowledge and skills needed to establish and implement anti-corruption policies. The training program consists of subjects selected based on the needs of the participants of the training, such as the Integrity Assessment, Corruption Impact Assessment, protection of whistleblowers, integrity education, and investigation of corruption cases, etc.

This year's training program expanded lectures on anti-corruption education such as the Integrity Concert which has recently been receiving favorable reviews at home and abroad, and public service ethics including the prevention of conflicts of interest.

An official of the ACRC said that the anti-corruption training course is expected to serve to strengthen the anti-corruption capacity of human resources and institutions of various countries, as well as to prevent corruption in each country and contribute to global cooperation to tackle corruption.
