The ACRC organized a training seminar for Columbian government officials to help build their anti-corruption capacity for two weeks from July 2, 2012.

The training seminar was attended by 15 officials from Columbian government agencies including the Office of the Prosecutor General, the Office of the Comptroller General, and General Audit Office.

Funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency, the training seminar consisted of lectures on diverse issues related to corruption including anti-corruption strategies, preventive measures, investigation of corruption, and public-private partnerships as well as study visits to the Board of Audit and Inspection, Public Procurement Service, and Korea Customs Service.

Gae-ok Park, Director-General for Anti-Corruption of the ACRC, expressed his hope that "Korea's experience in overcoming corruption problems will provide a positive lesson for Columbia" in his welcoming speech.

In recent years, ACRC has been receiving numerous calls from developing countries to provide technical assistance in adopting Korea's anti-corruption measures such as the Integrity Assessment. In response to the increased demand, the ACRC plans to extend its anti-corruption training programs to more regions of the world.
