Chairperson Young-ran Kim of the ACRC and President Kyung-sik Son of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KORCHAM) signed an MOU on support for corporate ethical management on April 17 at the headquarters of the KORCHAM.

The MOU aims to facilitate communication between local economic organizations and CEOs, in order to determine the causes that harm ethical management and make improvements; support education about and the promotion of ethical management jointly to foster a culture of ethical management in companies; and mutually cooperate to enhance the level of integrity in the private sector. The two organizations will share their expertise and experience in support for ethical management and pursue mutual cooperation under the MOU.

Chairperson Kim in her speech expressed a hope for the MOU to be an important opportunity to create a synergic effect and help the culture of ethical management expand and take root in Korea.

The KORCHAM consists of over 130,000 corporate members. It supports the sound growth and development of companies, resolves their difficulties and facilitates the exchange and cooperation between corporate members.
